I've been creating web sites for something like eight years now.  A hobby, more than anything.  I had a dial-up ISP account in 1995 that gave me web space, so I decided to learn something about it.  I learned HTML very quickly as it's a lot like using the old Word Perfect with your codes on.  <StyleOn>, </StyleOff>.  And even some of the conventions were identical.

I've learned a lot since then.

Anyway, this web site was created with Microsoft's FrontPage 2000.  Most of the time it's created in HTML view as I like controlling what the HTML says rather than letting some editor do that for me.  A lot of people hate Front Page.  Then again, a lot of them just hate Microsoft.  I like FrontPage helps with common elements like borders, automatically manages my navigation bars, etc.

This was created on a Dell Latitude C800 with an Intel Pentium IV 1.8 GHz CUP, 1GB of RAM, and a 40GB hard drive.  This site is being hosted by dabot.com, and I have to say that I've been very  happy with them in the limited amount of time that I've been working with them.

The Front Page "theme" is of my own creation.  Started with something else and evolved it, really.  Stole some ideas from different places, etc.  If imitation is a high compliment, I try to compliment many.
